Zachary Hall announced as newest member of track and field coaching staff

Hall makes his way to Javelina Nation following stints at Saint Leo and Nova Southeastern

KINGSVILLE, Texas — On Tuesday, coach Ryan Dall announced the addition of Zachary Hall as an assistant coach for the Texas A&M-Kingsville cross country and track and field program.

"I'm very excited to have Zach join us, said coach Dall. "He has a proven history of recruiting and developing excellent student-athletes. I'm looking forward to him getting started and having a positive impact on our distance athletes."

Hall's responsibilities will be centered around the distance program, a role he is familiar with following stops at Nova Southeastern (2019-2022) and Saint Leo University (2018-19). At Nova Southeastern, he was the lead recruiting coordinator and brought in the largest freshman population in program history. He oversaw five all-conference runners and three all-region athletes, while his women's group snapped school records in the 3,000m, steeplechase, 10,000m, and 4x800m relay. On the men's side, a new benchmark was reached in the 5,000m.

He had similar success at Saint Leo, producing an All-American, as well as four all-conference cross country runners and three all-region representatives. Before the collegiate ranks, he spent time as Head Cross Country and Track and Field coach at Nature Coast Technical High School from 2016-2018, winning eight conference titles, eight district trophies, and a regional championship while boasting 15 all-state selections.

As a student-athlete, Hall competed for Florida Southern, where he was an NCAA Division II National Championship competitor. He received a baccalaureate degree in Environmental Sciences from Florida Southern in 2016.
