WICHITA FALLS, Texas- The Texas A&M-Kingsville golf program wrapped up the second day of completion at the 2022 MSU Women's Invitational, as the team placed seventh at the Wichita Falls Country Club in an event hosted by Midwestern State. The team shot 998 overall with a third-round score of 334 that placed the team 134-over par.

"We had some really good moments today, but we had some rough moments as well," said coach Stefanie Maynard. "The girls played their hearts out today and were very close to another good round."

Roxane Nataf (Paris, France) posted a top-ten finish, placing eighth amongst a slew of Lone Star Conference competitors. She delivered a plus-24 performance, including a round three scores of 85, finishing even with par eight times on day two.Â

Katelyn Habib (Corpus Christi, Texas) and freshmanÂ
Alessia Rojas (Seabrook, Texas) each shot 251 in Wichita Falls, with Rojas carding a team-low 80 in round three aided by a 15th hole birdie.Â

Kristin Grabow (San Antonio, Texas) scored an 81 on round three, finishing in 35th and one stroke behind Habib and Rojas.

Shooting a 92, sophomoreÂ
Olivia Vargas (Lake Travis, Texas) had her best round of the tournament on Tuesday, and birdied on the third hole for a 46th place finish,Â

The Javelinas finished ahead of NCAA Division II programs Southern Arkansas and Fort Lewis, while host school MSU-Texas took first, with Oklahoma Christian finishing second, and Cameron taking third.
