KINGSVILLE, Texas – No. 15 Texas A&M – Kingsville (7-0, LSC 5-0) will head to San Angelo this weekend for a matchup of the undefeated taking on No. 2 Angelo State (7-0, LSC 5-0) this Saturday at 6 p.m.
The Javelinas are back on the road after defeating UT Permian Basin last weekend 13-10 at home thanks to a late touchdown throw from quarterback

TAMUK is currently off to its best start to season since 2009 when the program started 7-0 on its way to winning the Lone Star Conference and making the NCAA Division II Playoffs.
The matchup with the No. 2 Rams is the highest ranked opponent the Javelinas have faced in over a decade.
Being ranked No. 15 is also the highest the Javelinas have been ranked in last two decades.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
ASU is ranked No. 2 in the AFCA Coaches' Poll the highest the Rams have been ranked in program history.
The team enters the weekend coming off a dominant 52-13 victory over Western New Mexico last Saturday.
Leading the way for the Rams is running back Nate Omayebu III who leads the Lone Star Conference in rushing yards with 706 this season.
Quarterback Zach Bronkhorst also leads the LSC in passing yards with 1,734 and a second best in the conference mark of 14 passing touchdowns.
Collectively the Rams are best in the LSC in total offense posting 440.1 yards per game this season.
ASU also has the best total defense in the Lone Star Conference only allowing 230.9 yards per game this season while averaging 3.29 sacks a game.

Khalid Walker came up with the clinching sack.

Christian Anderson have led the Javelinas to posting 205.6 yards per game on the ground.
Anderson is first in the LSC for rushing touchdowns and Carter currently sits fifth. Anderson is also first in the LSC for total touchdowns with 9 and Toneil is first in the league in yards per carry.
