KINGSVILLE, Texas (Baseball) – Tuesday's contest at Nolan Ryen Field between Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the University of Houston-Victoria has been canceled and will not be made up.
The Javelinas are coming off a 4-0 week that included a 9-3 victory over then No. 9/t-17 St. Edward's University and a three-game sweep over Eastern New Mexico University.
Currently, the Hogs are tied atop the Lone Star Conference standings with Angelo State University and rank No. 4 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) South Central Region, the highest ranking among LSC schools.
Lance Elling tossed 5.2 scoreless innings last week with five strikeouts and two saves.
Pablo Hernandez went 7-of-16 with four RBI.
The Javelinas head to Stephenville for a three-game series at Tarleton State University Friday-Saturday.
