2016: Appered in 19 games... accumulated a record of 4-2... credited with 5 saves... had an ERA of 3.57... struck out 48 batters... held opponents to a .224 battting average... went 3.1 innings against West Texas (May 7) striking out 6...was named to the LSC All-Academic team... also named ot the Second Team All-Conference team.

2015 (Jr.): Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen, tallying four strikeouts in 10.2 innings… finished 0-1 with a 4.22 ERA… tossed 1.1 scoreless innings in Javelina debut versus Southwestern Oklahoma State (Feb. 6)… struck out one in 1.0 scoreless versus No. 23/22 St. Edward’s (April 21)… 2.2 scoreless innings in Lone Star Conference Championship opener against Tarleton State (May 7)… named to LSC Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Wharton County JC: Played two seasons with the Pioneers, recording the most strikeouts on the Wharton County Junior College pitching staff… selected to Region XIV Athletic Conference All-Academic team.
 
High School: Attended O’Connor High School in Helotes, Texas… district champion and awarded Academic All-State 5A in 2012… also named first team all-district outfielder.
 
Personal: Son of Gaylord and Sandra Elling… has one sister, Aubree… majoring in civil engineering.
