Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court. The double-double was the fifth of the year for Faison and four for Bukowski.
The Javelinas fall to 5-4 and 0-1 in the Lone Star Conference while the Aggies remain undefeated at 9-0 and 1-0 in conference play.

After two errors to start the match, Bukowski and Moehrig knotted the score with back-to-back kills. An ace by
Abbey Wells and a kill courtesy of Klobedans increased the Blue and Gold's advantage to 6-3. Six straight points however went to CU because of TAMUK errors to put the visitors in front 13-11.
A powerful strike from Faison started a 5-0 run to put the Javelinas back in front. They would hold the lead until four consecutive points put CU up 22-21. TAMUK tied the score twice but the final two points when to the Aggies.
CU jumped out to an early lead in set two until a Klobedans' service ace, kill from Moehrig and block by Hutchinson and Moehrig gave the Javelinas an 11-9 lead. TAMUK would maintain the lead until the Aggies won four straight for a 17-16 advantage and forcing a Blue and Gold timeout.
Faison came out of the short break with the kill to knot the score. However, the visitors went on a 5-0 burst and did not relinquish the lead the rest of the set.
A bad CU set followed by kills from Bukowski and Faison allowed TAMUK to win the first three points of the third set. Javelina mistakes and timely kills by the Aggies allowed CU to take the lead for good thanks to a 10-3 run. TAMUK was able to pull to within one twice, the last being after a quick strike from Klobedans to make it 22-21.
Next up for the Blue and Gold are two matches on Saturday at home. First up is a non-conference tilt with Our Lady of the Lake at 9:30 a.m. followed by a LSC contest with Midwestern State at 2 p.m.
