SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (12-10) canceled its match at Trinity University due to inclement weather. The match was originally scheduled for tomorrow in San Antonio.
The Javelinas return to the courts for their regular season finale next week when they host Tarleton State University.
Erika Larrea was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week after going 2-0 in singles action and 1-1 in doubles play to lead TAMUK to an upset win over No. 35 Cameron University and followed with a win over Southern Nazarene University the next day.
Larrea became the third Javelinas to earn the weekly nod this season. On the year, the Ecuador native is a team best 13-4 in singles action and is 9-12 in doubles play.
