FORT SILL, Okla. (Golf) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville completed day one of the 2015 Oklahoma Intercollegiate tied for 10
th place on Monday afternoon at Fort Sill Golf Course after shooting a 336 in the first round.
Jessica Sellers led all Javelina student-athletes with a first round score of 82.
Rachelle Nielson shot an 83 to end day one tied for 41
st.
Brittany Rodriguez,
Bianca Sielero and
Analysa Coy finished with scores of 85, 86 and 87, respectively.
Leading the pack is Tarleton State University, who shot two-under on the day and holds a 13-stroke lead heading into day two tomorrow. Lone Star Conference schools Midwestern State University, Angelo State University, Cameron University and Texas A&M University-Commerce sit in second, fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
Day two begins at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
