Irvin Hollinger scored on a drive to the bucket with two seconds left on the clock as the Javelinas downed Cameron 59-57 points on Kingsville Hampton Inn Court on IBC Bank Pack the House Night. It was Kingsville's first lead of the night
The win was the first Lone Star Conference win of the season for the Javelinas, who move to 1-4 in the LSC and 6-11 overall. Cameron falls to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Playing without leading scorer
Rashad Basey, the Javelinas faced an uphill battle throughout the game.
The Hoggies found themselves down 32-23 at the intermission and spent the second half working their way into the contest. After hitting 39.1% from the floor in the first half, Kingsville shot 52.2% in the second half.
A 15-7 run to start the second half by the Javelinas pulled the hosts to within basket at 40-38. Baskets from behind the arc by

Ta'Quan McDew sandwiched an old-fashioned triple by
Ronald Scott to make it a 35-32 contest.
Adonis Bailey scored a second-chance basket with just over 12 minutes remaining to make a 40-38 game.
Cameron pushed its advantage to nine, 53-44, on a pair of Craig Foster foul shots, but the Javelinas closed out the game with 15-6 run. CU scored just four points in the final five minutes of play.
Scott, who matched his high as a Javelina with 24 points in Basey's absence, hit two treys in the final run. Hollinger converted a 3-point play during the stretch as well.
Scott was joined in double figures by Bailey and Hollinger. Scott and Bailey led the Javelinas with three steals each.
Jordan Jahr led all players with six rebounds and had two blocks.
Will Cook led the visitors with 12 points, while Foster had 11. Asaad Robinson rounded out the scoring with 10 points.
The Javelinas open a 3-game road swing on Saturday at Midwestern State.
