Javelina Men's Basketball announces 2026 signing class

Kingsville - Texas A&M-Kingsville Men's Basketball announced its signing class for the upcoming 2026-27 season on Monday.

The signing class features 14 new Javelinas, including eight true freshmen and six junior college signees. The Javelinas will look for the new class to build upon the success the 2025-26 Javelina Men's Basketball team achieved, reaching the Lone Star Conference Tournament for the first time since the 2022-23 season.

"We are really excited about this brand-new team we will have at Javelina Nation this season.  Our staff did a phenomenal job in targeting exactly what we wanted to add to this class as well as what we need to move our brand in the right direction in the Lone Star Conference," said Head Coach Omar Gonzalez. "I love the freshman class along with the pieces that we brought in from Junior colleges all across the country.  We have players from:  California, Arizona, Louisiana, Alabama, Nigeria, Lithuania, and of course Texas, so it will be an exciting team for Javelina Nation to support all year long.  The fun part for the staff now is now getting to coach them up and get us ready to play as far into March as we can!"
