For the Hogs, Spinn hit .357 in the series loss to then-No. 1/14 Angelo State on the road but added a pair of jacks Sunday’s finale to slug .786 on the weekend.
The Holland, Texas, native compiled five hits in 14 at bats, added five RBI, drew a walk and was hit by a pitch for a .438 on-base percentage, and stole two bags to round out his weekend.
On the year, Spinn leads the team with a .384 mark with 58 hits in 151 at bats, 10 doubles and a .550 slugging percentage among qualified batters. He also owns three triples and three home runs and has drawn 31 walks for a .489 on-base clip.
