For the women's program, Thompson has been the leading scorer in the past three contests, tallying 13, 17 and 24 against the Eagles, the Rattlers and the Dustdevils, respectively. Against St. Mary's (TX), Thompson put away 17 points on 6-for-10 shooting, and added three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
On the year, Thompson leads the team with a 15.5 scoring average on a .500 mark to go with a 3.3 rebounding average through the first four games to lead the Javelina women to a 2-2 mark behind wins against Chadron State and TAMIU to go with losses to StMU and No. 22 Black Hills State.
