Kingsville, Texas – The Javelinas Volleyball Classic Starts with a win for Texas A&M – Kingsville.
The Javelinas had multiple standouts from their team with
Karli Krueger collecting a team leading 11 kills as she joined four others with above 5 kills in this match. When the Javs were down 23-19 in the second, a veteran in
Natalee Rush took the reigns and notched four out six points, to lead the team to the comeback victory. Coach Allen spoke about the team as a whole and said "I really like how this we are finding out the things we are great at and I think as the season goes on our ceiling will continue to rise."
The Javelinas swept the Fighting Scots in today's match as multiple contributed to the win as a total. Alison Warden notched her season high of 10 assists in this game meanwhile
Karrington Crawford put 7 kills on the board joining fellow middle blocker Natalee rush had 8 kills and a .500 hitting percentage on the day. On the defensive side
Tayae-Renae Garcia and
Kamryn Briggs both had over 15 digs on the day. The Javelinas look to build on today's showing all weekend.
