Kingsville, Texas – After a dominant showing during the week two Javelinas take home Player of the Week honors

The Javelinas were a force to reckoned with this past week as they took on Texas Woman's University, Sul Ross State and Western New Mexico. They would end up sweeping all three opponents during the week and a couple Javelinas showed out and proved that they are helping Texas A&M – Kingsville make their case in the Lone Star Conference. Cambelle Brammer and Karrington Crawford earned spots as the Lone Star Conference honors winners.

Cambelle Brammer who has been on a rampage her entire freshman year, took home another freshman of the week award. On top of that she has also grabbed her first Offensive player of the Week award as she put together a clinic on the stat sheet. She racked up 44 kills across all three matches on a .488 hitting percentage. This was good for 4.89 kills a set. Cambelle Brammer has shown once she gets going there is no one stopping her as she looks to continue her red-hot campaign.

Karrington Crawford joins her fellow Javelina as an award winner, taking home a Defensive Player of the Week. She helped lead the Javelinas as they only allowed a .125 opponent hitting percentage. She collected 16 blocks, 3 solo and 13 assists, this brought her up to 28 total since conference play has started. She added five digs and two aces on to the ledger for good measure, as well as contributing with 38 kills. She will look to continue being an anchor for the Hogs as they progress in the season.
