Kingsville — With the Lone Star Conference Tournament on the horizon, the Texas A&M-Kingsville STUNT team returns home this Friday for its only home match of the 2026 season, welcoming No. 12 St. Mary's to the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center.
The Javelinas come in at 6-13 on the year and will look to use the energy of a home crowd to their advantage as they close out the regular season. With conference tournament play approaching at the end of the month, Friday's match represents an important opportunity for Kingsville to build momentum heading into postseason competition.
Standing across the mat is a St. Mary's program has consistently been one of the premier STUNT programs not only in the LSC but all of Division II. The Rattlers enter as one of the top-15 teams in the country and bring a deep, experienced roster to Kingsville.
Despite the challenge, the Javelinas have everything to play for with the conference tournament around the corner. Friday's home match gives the Javelinas a chance to send a message before postseason play begins.
