Box Score SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Texas A&M-Kingsville baseball team closed out their final away series of the regular season on Sunday afternoon, falling to the No. 23 Angelo State Rams, 4-10.
The Javelinas (23-23, 21-23 LSC) drop their second series in a row with one more series to play in the regular season.
The Rams opened the game with one run in the bottom of the first inning for an early 1-0 lead. The Hogs responded in the second with a run of their own off the bat of a
Michael Cervantes solo home run.
The Hogs added one more run in the third.
Dalton Kramer picked up the RBI with a double to right-center to score
Jaden Cavazos. Tied at 2-2, the Rams took the lead once more with two runs in the bottom of the third and three in the fourth inning, 7-2.
The Javelina scored their final two runs of the game in the fifth inning.
Jacob Rosales collected a single to left, scoring Cavazos, while
Kyle Perales brought Kramer home off a sacrifice fly.
Angelo State scored three more runs, with two in the seventh and one in the eighth inning to bring the game to its final score of 10-4.Â
Austin Teel (2-1) is credited with the win for the Rams while
Jake Thielen (1-3) is given the loss for the Javelinas.Â

The Javelinas close out the regular season at home with a series against the Texas A&M International Dustdevils. The two squads have met twice already in non-conference action as the Javelinas took both games. Game one of the series is slated for Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m.
