KINGSVILLE, Texas - The Texas A&M-Kingsville baseball team met the UT Tyler Patriots for the fourth and final game of the series on Sunday afternoon, dropping the game and the series after a 1-6 loss.
The Javelinas (13-13, 11-13 LSC) are now 1-1-1 in their last three series, winning against UTPB and splitting with Cameron.
The Hogs had little trouble getting runners on base, but bringing them home proved a problem, leaving nine runners on base and scoring one in the second inning.
Vincent Sanchez picked up the lone RBI on the day for the Javelinas with a sacrifice fly to center field, bringing home
Ramsey Amador, who opened the inning with a walk, to tie the score at 1-1.
The Patriots brought home two more runs in the fourth inning to regain the lead, then once more in the seventh to extend it. UT Tyler added one more run in the ninth to bring the game to its final score of 6-1.
Colton Taylor (1-3) is given the loss for TAMUK. Rawley Hector (3-2) gains the credit for the win for UT Tyler.

The Javelinas are back on the road to take on the Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Game one is scheduled for Friday, March 15 with games two and three scheduled for Saturday and game four chalked in for Sunday.
