TUSCON, Ariz. - The Javelina Women's Golf team wrapped up competition on Tuesday at the West Texas A&M Desert Invite at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon with freshman Victoria Patterson finishing tied for 7th for her highest individual finish of her collegiate career.
As a team, the Javelinas finished 12th above two fellow Lone Star Conference teams in UT Permian Basin and #25 Arkansas Fort Smith.
Patterson carded a final round score of 80 with shooting par or better on eight of the holes, going +13 for the tournament eight shots off the tournament winner from Colorado State Pueblo.
In terms of the LSC, the San Antonio native was tied as the fourth highest individual finisher from the conference.
Patterson's previous top-ten finish came back in February at the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational where she finished T-10.
Katelyn Habib matched her round one performance shooting an 84 on day two with two birdies on holes four and eight on the final round to finish T-44.
Cesilee Mokry improved by four shots over her first round performance carding and 83 on the day including a sensational eagle on the par five number four, as she finished T-56.
Kristin Grabow and Alessia Rojas rounded out the Javelina performances shooting 87 and 92 on the final round finishing T-61 and T-102 for the tournament respectively.
TAMUK will next hit the links at the Lone Star Conference Championships on April 24 in Thackerville, Okla. at the WinStar Golf Course.
