KINGSVILLE, Texas- The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team faced off against the UT Permian Basin Falcons Saturday at the Steinke Physical Education Center where they fell short 60-77.
"I just think we ran into a team that played with a lot of confidence." said coach
Michael Madrid. "A ton of credit to UTPB and their coaching staff I thought they came in ready, prepared and energetic. They shot the ball extremely well; they got 19 offensive rebounds and we've got to do a better job. I thought collectively we weren't really in good shape we missed a lot of shots and we didn't really play our brand of basketball. Hopefully moving forward we can watch film and learn from this, we've got a lot of upperclassmen and we'll bounce back".
