• TAMUK started the league schedule 2-0 for the second consecutive year after turning the first win in program history over the top-ranked team in the nation with a 59-42 decision over Lubbock Christian
• The Blue and Gold followed that up with a 63-51 win over Eastern New Mexico to wrap up the first weekend of LSC play
• The Mustangs haven't played since December 21 as a 70-54 win over Univ. of the Southwest snapped a four-game losing streak
• WNMU also owns wins over New Mexico Highlands, Fort Lewis and Northern New Mexico

• Kyanna Kowatch is the leading scorer at 11 ppg but hasn't seen action since November 17

• The Javelinas started 2-0 in Lone Star Conference play for the second consecutive season following its win over ENMU on January 2
• The last time TAMUK started 2-0 in back-to-back years was 1999-00 and 2000-01, coincidentally the last two times the Blue and Gold reached the NCAA South Central Regional

• The Javelinas held Chadron State to zero points in the third quarter en route to a 58-51 win on November 12 to open the season
