• ASU snapped a three-game skid with wins over Oklahoma Christian and UAFS, both decided by fewer than 10 points
• De'Anira Moore leads the way with a 17.4 scoring average and 8.1 rebounding average for Angelo State in 20 starts
• Moore will be joined by Catara Samuel, Asia Davis and Sawyer Lloyd as the quartet all average double digit scoring
• Samuel is second on the team at 13.0 ppg, followed by Davis at 11.2 ppg and Lloyd at 10.8 ppg
• LCU has won five straight, including seven of its last eight, with wins over UAFS and OC
• Maddi Chitsey leads Lady Chaps with a 14.4 scoring average and 6.5 rebounding average
• Chitsey is joined by Allie Schulte and Ashton Duncan who also average at least 10 ppg
• Schulte is second on the team with 12.6 points per game, while Duncan rounds out the trio with 10.0 points per game
• All three leading scorers for LCU are shooting at a clip over 45.0%, led by Schulte at 50.4%
Run It Back  Â
• The Javelinas fell 56-48 to Texas A&M International over the weekend in the rematch between the two programs
• TAMUK had three score in double figures for the fourth time this season, led by
Anastacia Mickens with 14 points

Madison Lucas set a new season-high with 12 points, while
Bridget Upton rounded out the trio with 10 points
• Mickens added seven rebounds to her total on the day, while
Bri-Anna Soliz put away eight rebounds
Get Back on Defense  Â
• The Javelinas held the Patriots to 38 points in the win on January 9, the ninth time in program history TAMUK held opponents to fewer than 40 points
• It is the third time in the last four seasons the Javelinas held an opponent to fewer than 40 points after limiting Chadron to 37 in 2018-19 and 35 to East Central in 2016-17
• The fewest points allowed came in the inaugural season in 1977-78 with a 48-27 win over St. Mary's
• TAMUK held the Rattlers to two points in the first quarter on January 18, the lowest total allowed from an opponent all year
• In total, the Javelinas have held opponents to fewer than 10 points in a quarter on 16 separate occasions, the most recent being eight points allowed against Texas A&M International on February 15
Seeing Double  Â
• There have been two double-doubles on the year so far for the Javelinas
•
Jalynn Johnson recorded both of them with exactly 11 points and 10 rebounds on two separate occasions
• Her first double-double came against UAFS on November 23 and she matched the feat against UT Permian Basin on December 19
• TAMUK recorded six double-doubles as a team in 2018-19, with
Bri-Anna Soliz posting the most at four, most recently 15 points and 13 rebounds against Cameron on February 28
