• The Javelinas are back on the road this week and they trek north for LSC games against Midwestern State and Cameron
• Tipoff for the contest against the Mustangs is set for 5:30 p.m. CT in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Thursday, January 30
• The matchup against the Aggies will follow on Saturday, February 1, with tipoff at 2 p.m. CT in Lawton, Okla.
• The Javelinas are looking to snap a five-game skid as they fell to West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico last week
• MSU Texas is coming off an 0-2 week with losses to Oklahoma Christian and UAFS this past weekend
• Elizabeth Cathcart and Hannah Reynolds are the one-two punch for the Mustangs as they average 14.1 and 11.3 points per game, respectively
• Cathcart also leads the team with 6.9 rebounds per game, followed by Reynolds at 4.3 per game
• Mica Schneider has started all but one game on the year and rounds out the trio with a 9.7 scoring average
• CU flipped the script on their previous weekend with wins over UAFS and OC
• Maighan is among the best scorers in the nation as she averages 20.1 per outing on a 41.1% clip
• Ava Battese is second with a 16.4 scoring average, followed by Amake Nwakamma rounds out the trio with a 10.1 rate

Run It Back  Â
• The Javelinas went 0-2 last week with losses to No. 21/18 West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico
• The nationally-ranked Lady Buffs took the win at 56-32, holding TAMUK to its lowest output of the season

Bridget Upton led the Blue and Gold with 12 points, while
Bri-Anna Soliz recorded a season-high 11 rebounds in the loss
• The Greyhounds followed up with a 60-45 win to close out the weekend over the Javelinas
• Upton matched her career-high of 16 points in the loss on 6-for-11 shooting from the floor, including a 4-for-6 mark from beyond the arc
• Mickens added 13 points to her total along with eight rebounds
Get Back on Defense  Â
• The Javelinas held the Patriots to 38 points in the win on January 9, the ninth time in program history TAMUK held opponents to fewer than 40 points
• It is the third time in the last four seasons the Javelinas held an opponent to fewer than 40 points after limiting Chadron to 37 in 2018-19 and 35 to East Central in 2016-17
• The fewest points allowed came in the inaugural season in 1977-78 with a 48-27 win over St. Mary's
• TAMUK held the Rattlers to two points in the first quarter on January 18, the lowest total allowed from an opponent all year
• In total, the Javelinas have held opponents to fewer than 10 points in a quarter on 13 separate occasions
Seeing Double  Â
• There have been two double-doubles on the year so far for the Javelinas

Jalynn Johnson recorded both of them with exactly 11 points and 10 rebounds on two separate occasions
• Her first double-double came against UAFS on November 23 and she matched the feat against UT Permian Basin on December 19
• TAMUK recorded six double-doubles as a team in 2018-19, with
Bri-Anna Soliz posting the most at four, most recently 15 points and 13 rebounds against Cameron on February 28

• The Javelinas have had someone record at least 10 points in a game on 26 occasions

Ravae Payne owns the season-high of 23 points recorded twice, first against Texas A&M International on December 14 and second against Texas Woman's on January 4
