STEPHENVILLE, Texas (Women's Basketball) – With just six regular season games remaining, the Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-10, 5-9 LSC) Javelinas look to move up the Lone Star Conference standings with a Thursday bout at Tarleton State University (10-10, 9-5 LSC) and Saturday afternoon contest at Texas A&M University-Commerce (16-6, 10-4 LSC).
The eighth-place Hogs and fifth-place TexAnns tip off at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in Wisdom Gym and the Javelinas will meet the fourth-place Lions Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.

LAST TIME OUT
The defense forced 19 turnovers and held the Aggies to 25.8 percent shooting in a 69-54 victory and
Meesha Wade tied her season-high with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting as the Javelinas split the regular season series versus Cameron University (8-12, 6-8 LSC).
SETTING THE SCENE
Texas A&M-Kingsville nears the home stretch of LSC play as they travel to take on Tarleton State Thursday at 5:30 p.m. inside Wisdom Gym. In the first meeting,
Tee Moore hit a long ball to give the Javs the lead with 8 seconds remaining, but Mackenzie Hailey stunned the SPEC crowd by nailing a three at the buzzer to force OT.
Kaylin Roher paced the Javs with 17.
On Saturday, the Javelinas face A&M-Commerce in the Field House at 2 p.m. A&M-Kingsville fell at home to TAMUC in the first matchup 78-71. Reigning LSC Offensive Player of the Week Artaejah Gay led the Lions with 20 points. Wade scored 17 and
Kaylee Kana posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards.
SERIES HISTORY
Texas A&M-Kingsville trails the all-time series versus Tarleton State 25-17 and versus A&M-Commerce 33-30. The Javs last win over TSU came on January 30th, 2010 at the SPEC, a 63-62 win (lost 13 straight). TAMUC won the last four meetings versus TAMUK after being swept in the '13-14 campaign.

TAMUK hosts West Texas A&M Feb. 16 at 5:15 p.m. and UTPB at 4 on Feb. 18 in its final games at the SPEC this season. The Falcons game is also Play4Kay and Senior Day for the Javelinas.

Kaylin Roher leads the Hogs with 11.8 points per game and 1.9 steals per contest (T-6th in the LSC)... the senior is making 2.5 three-pointers per game (tops in the LSC) and is shooting 39.7 percent from long distance.

Jaiton Walls and

Wade reached double figures in a season-high five straight games from December 19th through January 14th... shot 8-10 from the field en route to scoring 18 points against WNMU on January 21st... scored 18 points for second time this season in win over Cameron this past Saturday... has scored at least 10 points in 9 of her last 11 contests.
