SAN ANGELO, Texas (Baseball) – No. 18/22 Texas A&M University-Kingsville (34-15) will begin the 2016 Lone Star Conference Tournament at Foster Field at 1^st Community Credit Union Stadium taking on West Texas A&M University, May 12 at 3 p.m.
 
Thursday's opener pits the second seeded Javelinas against the third seeded Buffs. TAMUK went 5-2 against West Texas in the regular season.
 
Texas A&M-Kingsville is 21-22 all-time in LSC Tournament games and have won four conference titles, including the 2013 championship that featured the club advance to the championship game of the South Central Region.
 
Live stats and video will be available for all games. Should the Javelinas defeat the Buffaloes, they would advance to take on the winner of the Angelo State University/Cameron University contest on Friday at 12 p.m.
