Golf Concludes UTRGV Invitational in 11th

Javelinas head to Texas A&M International March 21-22



McALLEN, Texas (Golf) –
The final day of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Invitational came to a close Wednesday at the McAllen Country Club and Texas A&M University-Kingsville finished 11th.
 
Analysa Coy finished tied for 36th with a total score of 249 to pace the Javelinas. Rachelle Nielson posted the lowest score in round three with an 85 to finish with a final score of 257. Sam Houston State University's Nicole Budnik posted a 73 in round three and earned the individual title with a final score of 221. Lamar University won the team crown with a team score of 919, narrowly scoring better than Wichita State University, who posted a third round score of 311 to place three strokes behind LU.
 
The Javelinas head to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International University March 21-22 in a dual match.
