McALLEN, Texas (Golf) – Day two of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Invitational came to a close Tuesday at the McAllen Country Club and Texas A&M University-Kingsville shot 352 to conclude round two in 10
th. The final score was a nine stroke improvement for the Javelinas.
Analysa Coy finished round two with a score of 79 to tie for 28
th individually. The 79 is a four stroke improvement and is a season low for the senior.
Rachelle Nielson shot an 88 to finish the first two rounds with a 172.

Sam Houston State University led the teams on day two with a 293, but the overall leader is Lamar University, who has a team score of 607. Wichita State University follows with a 611. Individually, SHSU's Nicole Budnik, who started the morning tied for 12
th, shot a 68 Tuesday and now leads with a 148. The 68 was three-under-par and she is slightly ahead of Lamar's Olivia Le Roux and Wichita State's Gavrilla Arya.
