AUSTIN, Texas (Softball) – Due to impending weather, Texas A&M University-Kingsville (6-13) has rescheduled its doubleheader at Huston-Tillotson University (5-5). The doubleheader, which was originally scheduled for March 8 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., will now be held on April 5 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Krieg Softball Complex.

The Rams are on a four-game winning streak and two of their five losses came at the hands of the Javelinas earlier this season.
Haley Boyett has reached base safely in 17 consecutive games and is tied with
Roxy Chapa with a team-leading .328 batting average. The center fielder has swiped 10 bags this season and boasts an on-base percentage of .443. Chapa has reached base safely in 19 straight games and leads the club with three home runs, six doubles and 18 RBI. Shortstop
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio has two home runs, three doubles and a triple and leads the Hogs with a .514 OBP. Third baseman
Rachael Longoria is also the .300 clip and her 13 RBI are second most on the club.

The Javelinas resume Lone Star Conference play at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field this weekend as Cameron University enters Kingsville for four games. March 11 games begin at 5 p.m. with the Hogs hosting the Aggies at 2 p.m. Saturday. Live stats will be available for all four games. Friday's games will be CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg Strikeout Cancer as the Javelinas look to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive a free water bottle courtesy of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg.
