Kingsville - The Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team is back in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament for the first time since 2022 after being selected to compete as the six seed in the region, with a rematch against No.18 (three seed) Angelo State at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday in the first round.
The initial stage of the Tournament (Regional) will be a 'double elimination' format, with the Javelinas set to travel back to Canyon, where they will join ASU, West Texas A&M, and Colorado State-Pueblo, in three days of competition and two losses needed to knock any particular team out of the weekend.
Should Kingsville win its first round matchup, it will be set up to take on the winner of CSU-P and WT at noon on Friday. If it were to lose that first round matchup, it will instead play the other game' loser at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The organization of the entire bracket is available
