Canyon - The Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team's opening round game in the NCAA South Central Regional has been delayed until Friday at noon due to unsafe playing conditions. After lightning in the area initially caused a delay to the game's start time, it will now be moved until tomorrow, when your Javelinas will take on No.18 Angelo State at West Texas A&M's Schaeffer Field.

FRI 5/15/26:
GM 2 12:00PM---TAMUK vs ASU.
GM 3 2:30PM---WTAMU vs Winner of GM 2.
GM 4 5:00PM---CSUP vs Loser of GM 2.
GM 5 7:30PM---Winner of GM 4 vs Loser of GM 3. HOWEVER: If this game is the 3rd game of the day for a team it will be played on Saturday.
SAT 5/16/26:
(Possibility GM 5) 12:00PM---Winner of GM 4 vs Loser of GM 3.
GM 6 2:30PM---Winner of Gm 3 vs Winner of Gm 5
NOTE: If the winner of GM 3 is the winner of GM 6 then the Tournament is over. If GM 5 is played on Saturday and the winner of GM 5 wins GM 6, then the "IF" Game will be played on Sunday at 12:00PM.
NOTE: If GM 5 is played Friday night, then GM 6 will be played as scheduled at 2:30PM Saturday, with the "IF" Gm scheduled immediately after.
