LAREDO, Texas (Softball) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (14-19) looks to extend its winning streak as it takes on Texas A&M International University (17-22) in a doubleheader March 29 at 1 and 3 p.m. at the Dustdevil Softball Field.

The Javelinas enter Laredo after a four-game sweep over Lone Star Conference member Eastern New Mexico University.
Lauren Oatman was named LSC Hitter of the Week Monday after tallying two home runs, 12 RBI and six runs. She went 6-for-7 at the plate in Saturday's wins, driving in five RBI in the series finale versus the Greyhounds.
Roxy Chapa hit two home runs in the four-win week.

Rachael Longoria and Oatman have eight multiple-hit games in 2016.
Victoria Schoonard-Saborio leads the Hoggies with a .373 batting average and has a 22-game reached base safely streak as well as a nine-game hit streak. Oatman is batting .313 and Boyett has an even .300 batting average.

Carlie Clark boasts a 6-6 record on the rubber with 50 strikeouts in 54.2 innings.
Karri Smith is 4-6 with a 4.33 ERA in 76.0 innings.

The Dustdevils are 11-16 in nonconference games and dropped the last two games of their three-game series against Newman University.

Krissy Sardelich leads the team with a batting average of .330, while Brenda Parnin follows with an average of .323 and leads the Dustdevils with seven home runs. Brittany Mussett bats .321 at the plate with a team-high 28 RBI and Taylor Vines rounds out the .300 batters with a .301 average.

Krystal De La Cruz is 9-8 in the circle with a 3.45 ERA and 93 strikeouts in 125.2 innings pitched this season. Delainey Thompson is 6-10 this season and has pitched 108.2 innings recording an ERA of 3.99. Â
