CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Golf) – Day one of the Islander Classic at the Corpus Christi Country Club came to a close Monday and Texas A&M University-Kingsville sits in 11
th place.
Analysa Coy shot an 84 to lead the way for the Javelinas and
Brittany Rodriguez finished with a score of 87 in round one.
The par-72 course featured three under-par performances, led by UTSA's Julie Houston, who registered a four-under par 68. The Roadrunners are atop the team leaderboards with a one-over par 289, followed by Lamar University's +9 and Sam Houston State University's 298.
Tee time was pushed up to 8 a.m. tomorrow as the Islander Classic comes to a close. Results will be posted on GolfStat.com following the conclusion of the two-day tournament.
