GAME 8: WBB Hosts Rattlers in Final Home Game of 2016

Javelinas handed StMU 63-54 its lone loss of the season

KINGSVILLE, Texas (Women's Basketball) – The Javelinas look to put an end to the six-game win streak of St. Mary's University (8-1) Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. when Texas A&M University-Kingsville (5-2) hosts the Rattlers at the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.

Texas A&M-Kingsville handed StMU its lone loss of the season, 63-54, Nov. 14 in San Antonio, Texas. Since then, the Rattlers have won six consecutive games, including a 78-73 upset win at No. 22 University of West Florida Dec. 3 (last game).

Live stats and video will be available. Kevin Piel will be on the call on the Javelina Sports Network, beginning with the pregame show at 5 p.m.

  • Give the Hogs their best start to a season since 2009-10 when the Javelinas went 10-2
  • Improve the nonconference record to 5-1
  • Improve the home record to 4-1
