SAN ANGELO, Texas (Women's Basketball) – To make it three in a row, the Javelinas will have their toughest task to date as Texas A&M University-Kingsville (3-1) opens Lone Star Conference play at 2016 Lone Star Conference Tournament champion, undefeated Angelo State University (3-0) Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Stephens Arena at the Junell Center.

TIP OFF
The Rambelles are ranked No. 15 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association NCAA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll and No. 14 in the Division II Media Poll sponsored by Division II Sports Information Directors of America. In the D2SIDA regional rankings released earlier today, Angelo State is No. 1 in the South Central Region.
The Javelinas have won their last two contests and return to the hardwood following a 60-46 victory versus Texas A&M International University. In the win,
Kaylin Roher finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and a career-high six steals as the Javelina defense held the Dustdevils to 30.6 percent shooting.
LAST TIME THEY MET
Angelo State defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville in last year's regular season finale (Feb. 27), 71-56. In the game, Roher was 7-of-14 and drained three from behind-the-arc, finishing with 19 points and three assists.
Kaylee Kana added eight points and eight rebounds and
Tee Moore came off the bench with four rebounds and four assists. This season's LSC Preseason Player of the Year Jasmine Prophet finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead all players.
A WIN WOULD
- Be A&M-Kingsville's first win versus Angelo State since March 1, 2014 and first in San Angelo, Texas since Jan. 25, 2007.
- Give the Hogs their first conference victory since March 1, 2014. That win was an 83-67 defeat of Angelo State.
- Mark the second consecutive season where the Javelinas win three straight contests.
- Hand the Rambelles their first loss in San Angelo since Feb. 10.

Head coach
Wade Scott has started Roher, Moore,
Meesha Wade, Kana and
Jaiton Walls in all four regular season contests.
Angelica Wilson received the nod over Walls in the exhibition at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Roher – leads the team with 11.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.8 steals
Moore – averaging 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.8 assists
Wade – second on the team with 6.0 rebounds and adds 6.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals
Kana – leads the club with 9.5 rebounds, third on the team with 7.0 points and dishing 2.3 assists per contest
Walls – 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds
Wilson adds 4.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game off the bench.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Angelo State leads the series 46-28 and the Rambelles are 26-11 inside the Junell Center.
ABOUT THE RAMBELLES
Taylor Dorsey paces the way for ASU with 25.3 points per game on 64.6 percent shooting. The Sam Houston State University transfer scored 25 points after going 10-of-17 and added five assists, four steals and four rebounds in a win versus East Central University Nov. 26. Lexi Murphy (10.7 points, 60.9 percent from the field, 6.0 rebounds, 3.67 assists) and Prophet (10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds) also average double figures.
