KINGSVILLE, Texas (Men's Basketball) – The surging Cameron University Aggies (11-7, 4-2 LSC) enter the Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center-Kingsville Hampton Inn Court Jan. 23 for an 8 p.m. bout versus Texas A&M University-Kingsville (9-7, 1-4 LSC).
 
The Javelinas are coming off a loss to No. 4/2 Midwestern State University, 95-50, in which Jamar Goodwin came off the bench with 13 points, five rebounds and four steals.
 
Cameron upset No. 11 Angelo State University on a second chance tip-in to complete a comeback from 12 down.
 
Troy Jones leads the Hogs in scoring and rebounding (11.3 points, 6.7 rebounds) and Jamar Goodwin and DJ Weathers add double digit points per contest at 11.0 and 10.9, respectively. Cris Boleware and DJ Weathers dish out 2.3 assists per game to lead the Javelinas.
 
Jamaal Brantley is averaging 15.2 points and 6.9 rebounds to lead the Aggies, Cameron Lee adds 14.0 points per game and JV Long picks up 1.8 steals per contest.
 
Texas A&M-Kingsville leads the all-time series 18-17 with the teams splitting its season series in 2014-15.
