#RV/30 @TAMUKBaseball’s Midweek Tilt Pushed to Next Week due to Rain

Javelinas return to LSC play this weekend at Eastern New Mexico

KINGSVILLE, Texas (Baseball) –
Due to weather in the South Texas area, #RV/30 Texas A&M University-Kingsville (24-15) has postponed its nonconference tilt versus No. 14/24 St. Edward's University (28-10) to April 21 at 6 p.m.

The game will be played at Nolan Ryan Field, where the Javelinas are 19-3 in 2015. After sweeping the four-game set from Cameron University, the Hogs remained atop the Lone Star Conference standings.

Earlier today, Ryan Scott was named the Lone Star Conference's Pitcher of the Week after the senior threw 12.0 shutout innings to extend his scoreless innings streak to 24.0. The senior went 8.0 innings in his first career start and struck out six to down the Aggies in game one Saturday. On the year, he boasts a 1.67 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 32.1 innings.

The Javelinas return to the diamond this weekend to take on Eastern New Mexico in Portales, N.M.
