SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Women's Basketball) – Game two of a three-game week is set for 6 p.m. on Dec. 2 when Texas A&M University-Kingsville (5-2) battles St. Mary's University (4-1) inside the Bill Greehey Arena.

The Javelinas are coming off a 66-65 loss at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (3-4) in which
Kaylin Roher led three double-digit scorers with 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range. Meanwhile, the Rattlers are 4-1 on the year and in the midst of a four-game winning streak. StMU downed Arkansas-Monticello, 80-59, on Nov. 27 before weather canceled its Saturday afternoon contest.

Last Time They MetThe Javelinas were unable to defeat the Rattlers in their home opener on Nov. 21, falling to St. Mary's, 75-56. In the game,
Kyra Bauer led the Hogs with 11 points and
Joslyn Smith had a team-high 10 rebounds with half coming on the offensive glass.

In the RankingsTexas A&M-Kingsville cracked the top 10 in the D2SIDA Women's Basketball South Central Region poll and is one spot behind St. Mary's.

Season StatisticsRoher leads all Hogs with 13.0 points per game and just a hair under 40 percent from three-point range. She has reached double figures in scoring in four of her first seven games in a Javelina uniform. Roher adds 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
TaSheena Moore is second on the team with 9.0 points per game, is third in rebounding with 4.3 and leads the Javelinas in assists with 2.9/game. In Monday's game at UTPB, Moore finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Lily Hospers and
Joslyn Smith combined for 10.4 rebounds per game and have come up with second and third chances early on this season with a total of 31 offensive rebounds. Smith is shooting 55.9 percent from the field and
Kaylee Kana is averaging 7.9 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 3.1 rebounds. At the charity stripe,
Kyra Bauer is 20-of-22 and is one of three Javelinas averaging over 8.0 points per game (8.6).

St. Mary's is No. 14 in NCAA Division II in three-point field goal percentage, limiting opponents to 20.8 percent shooting from long distance, while offensively, the Rattlers are No. 21 in the nation with 8.6 three-point field goals per game. Kaila Etheridge is second on the team in scoring, pouring in 17.8 points per game on 50.7 percent shooting and adding 10.8 rebounds per contest. She is sixth in the country with four double-doubles and 20
th in defensive rebounds per game with 8.0. Leading the club in scoring with 18.2 points per contest is Dezirae Elias, who also dishes out 3.8 assists per contest and records 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game. Elias has connected on 15-of-37 three-pointers, one of the best marks in the Heartland Conference. Adding 10.2 points, 2.0 steals and 3.8 rebounds per game is Arysia Porter.
