FORT SILL, Okla. (Golf) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville concluded its fall season Tuesday after a team score of 325 in round two to finish the 2015 Oklahoma Intercollegiate at Fort Sill Golf Course in 10
th place.
Jessica Sellers, who led the Javelinas yesterday with a first round score of 82, improved to shoot a 79 in the second round to pace the Hogs, finishing in 34
th.
Matching her first round 83 was
Rachelle Nielson, who placed tied for 39
th. Tied for 41
st was
Brittany Rodriguez, who finished with a second round score of 82 (167 total).
Analysa Coy shot an 81, the team's second best score on day two, to place in the top 45.
Tarleton State University earned the title with a team score of four-over par. Isabell Jimenez Perea earned the individual title, narrowly beating out her teammates Casey Wild and Sarah Gee as all three finished under par for the tournament. Fellow Lone Star Conference schools Midwestern State University and Angelo State University finished second and third, respectively.
The Javelinas concluded their fall season but return to the green in the spring.
