Softball Gears To Angelo State For Doubleheader

KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team will host the No. 7 Rambelles of Angelo State in a doubleheader at Hubert Field with first pitch set for 1 p.m.

Kingsville comes into this meeting with a 10-38 overall record and 2-20 in conference while Angelo has a record of 35-9 including 18-3 in conference. The Rambelles are coming to this meeting after wins in both games of a doubleheader over the Javelinas on April 12th.
 
Bailey Offill comes in to the series leading the Javelinas with a .303 average, most hits with 44, and 31 runs. Valerie Ramirez has the most runs knocked in of any Javelina with 25 RBI.
 
Kingsville has to stop Angelo's Morgan Spearman who leads the Rambelles with a .531 average, 67 runs, 45 RBI and eight home runs. Another Rambelle that the Javelina pitching staff will have to contend with is Micherie Koria. Koria has 51 hits and runs. On the mound, ASU's Kennedy Urban leads the pitching staff with a 16-2 record and Mary Kate McKay is right behind her with a 10-3 record.
