KINGSVILLE, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team will head to San Angelo on Saturday to face the Rambelles of Angelo State in a doubleheader with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
Kingsville comes into this meeting with a 10-34 overall record and 2-17 in conference while Angelo has a record of 33-9 including 16-3 in conference. The Rambelles are coming to this meeting after wins in both games of a doubleheader over St. Mary's on Tuesday.
Bailey Offill comes in to the series leading the Javelinas with a .314 average, most hits with 43, and 29 runs.
Valerie Ramirez has the most runs knocked in of any Javelina with 24 RBI.
Kingsville has to stop Angelo's Darian Dunn who leads the Rambelles with 71 RBI and 12 home runs. Another Rambelle that the Javelina pitching staff will have to contend with is Morgan Spearman. Spearman leads Angelo in hits and runs with 64. On the mound, ASU's Kennedy Urban leads the pitching staff with a 16-2 record and Mary Kate McKay is right behind her with a 9-3 record.
