KINGSVILLE, Texas -- The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team will play its final home game and hold Senior Day against the Angelo State Rambelles on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
The Javelinas come into this game 10-15 overall and 5-10 in conference. A&M-Kingsville hopes to capitalize on their win over Midwestern heading into Saturday's contest and end the season on a high note. With a win, the Javelinas clinch a spot in the tournament with the possibility of being seeded as high as six. If they lose, the Javelinas will need to rely on conference leader West Texas A&M defeating Eastern New Mexico.
The Rambelles records are 13-12 overall and 7-8 in conference.
This contest also is Senior Day for a few of the veteran Javelina players.Â

Rita Banaszczak, and
Rosalie Cutri will be touching Kingsville Hampton Inn Court the last time in an A&M-Kingsville uniform.
Jones has played in 50 games, scored 426 points with 73 steals over her career as a Javelina. Banaszczak has also been a great contributor on the court. She has averaged 5.7 points per game, 25 assists and 23 steal in her career. Cutri has had a huge impact as a transfer guard for A&M-Kingsville. She is ranked 47th in the NCAA Division II category for steal per game, averaging 2.5 per game.
ASU vaunts one of the top ten players in the conference in forward Hillari Adam who is averaging 12.1 points a game and 6.5 rebounds. The Rambelles also hold the fifth best assist average (12.3 per game) in the conference.
The game could also pit sisters against each other. Kingsville leading scorer
Lindsey Mahone and Angelo State guard Leah Lemaire are sisters. Lemaire did not play in the first meeting.
