Javelinas Fall To No.-7 Angelo State

Box Score KINGSVILLE, Texas -- The Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team dropped a 3-set match (25-19, 25-10, 25-15) Saturday afternoon to 7th-ranked Angelo State at Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
Dedra Brown led the way for the Javelinas with 12 kills, who fall to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in the Lone Star Conference. Kalani Giddens led the way for the Javelinas with eight digs and Sarah Fountain added 21 assists.
Maddie Huth led the visitors with 14 kills and three block solos. The Rambelles are now 10-2 overall and 3-0 on the year in LSC play. Katie MacLeay had 14 digs for Angelo State, while Shelby Wilt added 11. Maggi Jo Keffury had a match 33 digs.
Kingsville returns to action on Tuesday when it travels to former Lone Star Conference rival Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
