2012: Dedra Brown transfered to Kingsville after two seasons with Ranger College... During her first season with the Javelinas, Brown scored a total 408 points... She also had 385 kills as a newcomer... Brown also recorded 1,087 total attacks for the season, placing her seventh in the record books... She also recorded a season high 63 total attacks against Tarleton State during the 2012 Lone Star Conference Tournament... Brown was named Second Team All-LSC outside hitter for her performance this season.

Previous: Brown earned first team all-NTJCAC honors at Ranger College under head coach Wally Brooks... As a sophomore she pounded out 432 kills and had a .360 attack percentage... She contributed 67 aces, 52.5 blocks and 2.81 digs per set for the season... During her freshman season she had 262 kills and a .229 attack percentage... She had 36 aces and over 2.00 digs per set.

High School: As a senior at Sweetwater High School, Brown was named the District 2-3A Outstanding Hitter.

Personal: Brown is the daughter of Ada Jennings and is studying agriculture with a minor in animal production.
