In the first game, the Texans scored three times in the bottom of the first inning and were able to make the lead stand up. The Javelinas had the potential tying run come to the plate in the seventh inning, but were unable to bring the batter around.

In the second game, Dan Rogers (Redwood City, CA/Woodside HS) scattered 11 hits and stranded 14 Texan base runners to improve to 5-1 on the season. He allowed just one earned run and one walk while striking out two.

The Javelina offense took advantage of a pair of Texan errors and nine walks to outpace TSU.
