Tarleton State won the first game 5-4 with the Javelinas winning game two 13-8.
Texas A&M-Kingsville is now 22-19 overall and 17-14 in Lone Star Conference play.
Down 5-0 going into the ninth inning of game one, Owen Weaver hit a grand slam to cut the deficit to 5-4, but couldn’t push across the tying run.

Weaver then hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth to give the Hogs an 8-4 lead, but the Texans responded with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead to one, 8-7.
A&M-Kingsville pushed the lead back to a pair of runs when Gomez singled with two outs to drive in Myrick in the top of the fifth.
The Hogs then put some distance between themselves in the Texans with three runs in the sixth. Miller doubled to drive in the first run and Myrick doubled to drive in two more.
