For the men’s program, Thomas spent last week hitting everything in sight as he shot 71.4% from the field, 61.5% from beyond the arc and knocked down all five of his free throw attempts as he averaged 21.5 points per game.
Against St. Edward’s, Thomas matched his career-high with 23 points, shot 7-for-11 from the floor and set a new career-best with four steals. Against St. Mary’s, the senior guard spurred the Javelinas to a comeback win as he scored 18 of his 20 points in the second have and also drained 7-of-8 in the final period, including 4-for-5 from the perimeter, as TAMUK fought back to an 83-72 triumph. In LSC competition this year, he is shooting 49% from long range and his 36 triples are second-most in the league.
