Stevenson grabbed his first honor of the year after putting together seven points on 3-for-6 shooting for the floor as he added nine rebounds, five on offense and four on defense, one assist, one block and one steal in a 60-55 loss to St. Mary's (TX) the previous week.
On the season, the Houston native is averaging 5.0 points on .500 shooting from the floor, along with 6.8 rebounds through the first four games of the year, including Tuesday's win over Texas A&M International. The Javelina men are 2-2 on the year with wins over TAMIU and Chadron State, coupled with losses to South Dakota Mines and StMU.
