Kingsville - The home opener doubleheader for the Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team has been pushed back one hour from its original start time, with first pitch now set for 3:00 p.m., with the second game to follow at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field.

The change was made early Sunday morning to ensure playable field conditions following Saturday's storm. 

The games will still be both the first home matchup and the first Lone Star Conference contests of the year for the Javelinas, who will be putting their five-game winning streak on the line as they host the Dustdevils from Texas A&M - International.
