Javelinas get victory in pink as they soar past Eagles, 3-1

Kingsville, TX – The Javelinas secure a victory in Pink, Fly past Eagles 3-1
 
The Javelinas were back at home tonight for a special Dig Pink match against Oklahoma Christian. Texas A&M – Kingsville clinched a seventh conference victory in a 3-1 outing as three go over 10 kills on the night. Natalee Rush provided a veteran presence as she led with 14 kills on a .429 percentage. The Javelinas took a commanding set 1 as thy won 25-12, before OC came back for the 2nd set, causing the Hogs to reconvene and storm back in third and fourth.
 
Texas A&M – Kingsville still sits at 2nd place in the LSC as they are one game ahead of Dallas Baptist and one game behind Angleo St. Having yet to play these two teams, the end of the season could start to heat up as every is fighting for position, as the number one seed will get the opportunity to host the conference tournament. Alayna Guerrero keeps piling on the assists as she collected another 46, bringing her total to 674 on the season, which puts her on pace for 989. Kamryn Briggs is now in the top 10 for aces on the year at 23. The Javelinas secured the season sweep of the Eagles winning both matchups with a (3-0) on September 12th and tonight's result.
 
The Javelinas will play again tomorrow at 2:00 PM as the take on the Aggies of Cameron University. They will look to atone for last year's five set loss in Lawton, OK. The Javelinas currently hold the series lead at 16-10. Improving to 8-1 in conference would be the best start to a season in the Allen-Gonzalez era.
