Kingsville - Graduate Student Quarterback Jack Turner brought home his first Lone Star Conference award of his Javelina career for the Texas A&M-Kingsville football team.
Â
He claims the Offensive Player of the Week award after a stellar win on the road against Sul Ross State, 52-3. Turner completed 30-of-38 passes having a completion percentage of 78.9%. He totaled 393 yards through the air and two passing touchdowns to seal the deal. His 393 passing yards put him fifth all-time for passing yards in a single game for the Javelinas.
Â
The award marks the first time a Javelina has brought home the LSC's OPOTW honor in almost a year when former Javelina Quarterback Teague Sedtal claimed the award last September.Â
Â
Your Javelinas are on the road again this week as they head to Wichita Falls to take on Midwestern State University.
