Kingsville - Just two days after a wild late-night doubleheader with No.20 Oklahoma Christian, the Texas A&M - Kingsville softball team looks to get back in the win column when it faces off against Cameron in a doubleheader set to start at noon on Sunday.

The Aggies bring a 9-15 LSC record into the matchup, and have lost five of their last six matchups. While the team's pitching has struggled, allowing eight or more runs in four of its last seven matchups, its offense has been stellar. Cameron's .314 batting average is the fifth-best in the conference. .Extra bases have been the team's speciality, boasting a .516 slugging number, the third-best in the LSC.
Kingsville's offense has struggled as of late, but will have an opportunity to get its groove back as the Javelinas work against a crew with the 12th-best ERA in the conference.

Alaniz has already won multiple LSC Pitcher of the Week awards in her young career, having thrown a five-inning no-hitter against No.22 Lubbock Christian - she has already posted four games this season with double digit strikeouts, and has thrown three complete-game shutouts
